Headlight Adjustment Tips

Up/Down Control

I have checked my head light up/down movement control and I can't detect any movement of either dim or brights. The owners manual doesn't go into detail and I am unsure if it works the dims or brights or both and should you be able to detect actual movement?

  • Point the lights on a wall, then try it. You should be able to see a difference then.

  • Make sure your engine is running for the lights to move up & down.

  • The movement is subtle. If you aim it at a wall at close range it is hard to detect movement but it does move noticeable when you are riding in the darkness and make an adjustment.

  • Only the low beams are adjustable with the electric control. I will agree that all four lamps are on in the high beam position and the lower beams will still adjust in the high beam position.
